Auf Anregung internationaler Promovierender findet seit Januar 2009 das interdisziplinäre ZGS-Doktorandenkolloquium statt. Im Rahmen des Kolloquiums stellen sich Promovierende aller Fachbereiche gegenseitig ihre Arbeiten vor. Erfreulicherweise haben diverse Teilnehmer inzwischen ihr Dissertationsprojekt erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Das Kolloquium möchte daher im Sommersemester 2011 einen Aufruf für neue Teilnehmer starten: Interessierte aller Fachbereiche sind herzlich zur konstitutiven Sitzung der AG am 19. Mai 2011 (18 Uhr c.t.,T.09.01) eingeladen und werden gebeten, sich beim ZGS anzumelden (unter zgs[at]uni-wuppertal.de oder Tel.: 0202-439 2702). Auch Interessierte, die am 19. Mai verhindert sind, werden um eine Nachricht gebeten.

Initiated by international doctoral students at UW, the CGS interdisciplinary colloquium for doctoral students takes place at regular intervals each semester ever since January 2009. Conceived as a forum in which PhD students present their work in progress, it provides an opportunity to discuss every aspect of the individual project – method, division, arguments, material, building blocks and research results – with scholars from a wide range of disciplines and research areas.

Fortunately, several participants have meanwhile successfully completed their dissertations. The colloquium therefore issues a call for new participants in the summer term 2011: Doctoral students of all faculties are welcome to join the constitutive meeting on May 19 (6 p.m., in T.09.01).
