Information for international doctoral students
Are you an international student and would you like to pursue a PhD at the University of Wuppertal? We have compiled the most important information for you below.
You are considered an ‘international student’ at the University of Wuppertal if you
- obtained your degree abroad, or
- have obtained your Master’s degree in Germany, but hold non-German nationality and obtained your university entrance qualification abroad

International students also have the opportunity to undertake a standard PhD programme leading to a German qualification at the University of Wuppertal. Here, PhD candidates can obtain the following degrees or doctoral titles in the subjects listed:
