Title of the Presentation: A Novel Approach to Produce Metal-Metal Composites by Leveraging Immiscibility: Laser Poweder Bed Fusion of Nano-Silver Dispersed Titanium
Name of the Conference: Alloys for Additive Manufacturing Symposiums (AAMS)
Place: Palaiseau, France
Date: September 4 to 6 2024
Presented by: Hamed Shokri
I am grateful to the ZGS and the chair for supporting my participation in the Alloys for Additive Manufacturing Symposium (AAMS), held from September 4 to 6 at the École Polytechnique in Palaiseau, France. The conference, with its focus on alloys for additive manufacturing, was directly relevant to my doctoral research. Presenting my paper titled "A Novel Approach to Produce Metal-Metal Composites by Leveraging Immiscibility: Laser Poweder Bed Fusion of Nano-Silver Dispersed Titanium," provided an invaluable opportunity to share my findings with peers and experts in the field.
Attending AAMs not only allowed me to showcase my work but also facilitated enaging discussions that provided fresh perspectives and insights into my research. Feedback from scholars during the Q&A sessions helped refine the direciton of my ongoing work, contributing to the overall quality and impact of my dissertation. Moreover, the exchange of ideas and the networking opportunities at AAMS were instrumental in expanding my professional connections, opening avenues for potential future collaborations.
Once again, I deeply appreciate the support from the ZGS and the chair, which made this enriching experience possible.
