It was a three-day congress organised by the International Association of Bridge and Structural Engineers (IABSE) in New Delhi. The theme of the congress was “Engineering for Sustainable Development” and therefore it was a great fit to present our work on Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) bars as a reinforcement for reinforced concrete columns. It was an amazing platform to connect with researchers, academicians and practising engineers worldwide. I would like to thank Prof.  Arndt Goldack for supporting me to attend and present my work in this conference.
